DECODE

Batch Analysis

Analyze multiple participants at once. Download the CSV or XLSX template, enter one participant per row, upload the completed file, and DECODE will validate the data and calculate the results for each participant.

Batch Dataset

Use the template to prepare one participant per row. Participant references are generated automatically by the platform.

How to prepare the file

  • Use one row for each participant.
  • Participant references are generated automatically by the platform.
  • Enter symptom questionnaire scores in their corresponding columns.
  • Enter Right Eye values in columns starting with OD_.
  • Enter Left Eye values in columns starting with OS_.
  • Meibum Expressibility (0–3) describes the pressure required to achieve expression of the meibomian glands: 0 = Very light pressure; 1 = Mild pressure; 2 = Moderate pressure; 3 = Severe pressure.
  • Leave a cell empty when a measurement is not available.
  • Do not use 0 to represent missing data. Zero is a valid clinical value in several DECODE measurements.
  • Minimum data required: at least one symptom questionnaire (OSDI-6 recommended), at least one TBUT or NIBUT measurement, and Corneal Staining. Participants without the minimum remain in the dataset with unavailable discordance results and an identified reason.
  • CSV decimals: use a period, for example 0.30. Do not use a comma because commas separate CSV columns.
  • XLSX decimals: use the decimal separator configured in your spreadsheet software. Spanish installations often use 0,30; English installations may use 0.30. Store the value as numeric.

OD = Right Eye   OS = Left Eye

Before uploading

  • Do not rename or remove template columns.
  • Do not add patient names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other direct identifiers.
  • Use only numeric values in clinical measurement columns.
  • Keep values within the valid ranges defined by DECODE.
  • Empty cells are treated as missing data.
Important: Leave the cell empty if a value is missing. Do not enter 0 unless the actual clinical measurement is zero.

Upload the completed DECODE CSV or XLSX template.
